3pm-ish on 6/16 was the closing. After closing I rushed to the house and took it all in. It wasn't long before I had the fireplace mantle torn out, the weird closet in the loft and part of the bathroom. Jen showed up with a celebratory bottle of Champagne with a customized label. HOW AWESOME. Bob (our immediate east neighbor) took a pic for us and stopped to say welcome. We also had Brandon, Lisa and their daughter Hannah stop by to say hi and see the place. They were excited for us to be joining the neighborhood and glad they weren't the youngest on the island anymore...Here are some initial pics from when we first looked at the house:
