Along with the nasty smell....
We finished off some small projects tonight:
Hung the candle from my mom
Cut the bottom of the deck fence to allow for better drainage/cleaning, every other board, hard to see in the pic
Cleaned out the front gutter/tree farm, very nasty
Sanded and wiped down all the bath walls and ceiling, prep for painting tonight
Put the last plug in the bathroom (Somehow I ended up with an Ivory plug in my bag of whites, thanks Home Depot)

Flowers
Congrats to the EATON's
Presents!
Floor is in! Shower works...
Finally an update. Sorry it's been a while, we have been very busy....
Last weekend I sweated my first shower valve and we installed the tub/shower and it DIDN'T LEAK! Sweet. I had to crawl under the bathroom in a little crawlspace to get it all hooked up. I also got the electric all wired during the week.
We got the vanity all mounted and put the counter on and cut the sink hole.
Jen has been scraping away at the outside (in stylish gear of course) and we are slowly removing all the loose paint and priming. Hopefully we'll be able to paint the place by the end of the summer. Any color IDEAS?
This past weekend we had Builder bob down again and he painted the entire bathroom (white wash on the walls). Sunday we got the new oak floor installed and Jen polyurethaned all the shelves for the linen closet! I've gotta get another coat on the ceiling and finish the walls and we are well on our way to a completed bathroom. Check out Jen below using the air flooring nailer...WICKED TOOL!

Redneck Dock Rescue
Dock Rescue #2. The traffic on the lake this weekend caused the last piece of dock to float free....the dock is slowly tipping towards the water so I had to put in a temporary fix. I plan to redo the dock someday, but a pooper is higher on my priorities right now.
I hooked up the truck to the dock to tip it back towards the shore, then added some stakes an braces to keep it there for a while. Should hold...for now.

Family Help and Picnic
My Mom, Dad, Sis, Bro-in-Law and cousin came this weekend and helped on the house. Jen and Mom did yardwork, Kate and Kyle cleaned out the crawlspace under the bedroom and Maggie helped with some of the yard/lake work. Thanks soo much everyone!
Then Jen's family (Aunt, Dad, Mom, 2 Sisters and Ugly Pup) came over and we had a "future in-laws" family picnic. We had a ton of fun!
