"New" Light

I picked up this sweet light from the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store....it fits the kitchen pretty well! Still on the hunt for some other lights!

A few kitchen additions...

We finally found some knobs we like for the kitchen so I installed those this morning. Here's a closeup too. It really brings the white from the tile backsplash and the stainless appliances all together.
When we were in Traverse City last weekend we found this cool cross at an antique store. It fits perfect above our sink and the green glass goes well. We really need a light up there though. I'm thinking something low profile and 1920's style.

Living Room

Here's a quick few shots of the living room. I'm unpacking and trying to get organized and everything cleaned....

"Almost" Living Room...

Paint...Paint...and more Paint....in the Living room...Almost time for a party!


Shellac on the walls.....3 coats...


Patched the holes in the floor....started painting it....Walls are the final blue...


11:30....done with the floor...furniture is next.

Laundry and "Hall" Guest room....

Dad came down and pushed me ahead of schedule....pretty Sweet! Laundry is ready for Washer/Dryer install.... Spare bedroom is ready for guests...
